BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan ? Four parties in Kyrgyzstan have agreed to form a broad coalition government, a development that could create much-needed political stability.
Under an agreement signed Friday, more than three-quarters of the 120 parliament deputies will enter the coalition, which is expected to significantly ease decision-making. The first task will be appointing a prime minister.
The previous government collapsed this month amid disagreement on reforms.
